“Take Your Time and Do it Right”

I choose to believe that every one of us was created to do Great things here in the earth. There are gifts and talents deep down on the inside of us that we haven’t even tapped into yet. We may have an idea of what we are called to do, we may just need help and guidance in understanding how we will accomplish it. Maybe we haven’t discovered those gifts and talents yet, or maybe we haven’t connected with the people who possess the skills and resources to help us fulfill our Purpose.

The one thing we cannot EVER do is stop believing in ourselves. Yes, I am a true Believer and I know God can do ANYTHING. I also know that many of us (me included at one point) believe God will do His part, but we fail to believe in ourselves, that we have a responsibility to do our part, or that we even play a part in our Destiny.

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead (James 2:17 ESV).

What I am learning is this: If God Himself predestined us to do something, He will make sure we have EVERYTHING we need to do it. He has already given the provision, even if we can’t see it. Our job is to study, become learned and well-equipped in our field or area of expertise. We must seek Him for instruction and guidance. We have to get busy doing the work here in the natural; God has already taken care of the Supernatural.

Make sure that you Take Your Time and Do it Right. Check your motives. Ask yourself: Why do I want it? How will this Glorify God? Am I in God’s Will and His Timing?

So many people rush prematurely into what they believe, or are told, is their Purpose. They are uninformed and unprepared; and instead of excelling as they should, they either gain some notoriety but are soon forgotten, or they don’t go as far as they could have if they would’ve allowed God to order their steps and direct their pathways. That does not have to be your story.

The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22 ESV).

So, That Settles It. Some of this may sound familiar, and I don’t apologize because if God is still dealing with me about this I believe it’s because He really wants His people to prosper and have no regrets. He’d rather you Take Your Time and Do it Right than rushing ahead of His Timing ill-prepared. Don’t worry about others who may look like they are accelerating at a rate faster than you. He wants the best for us, and I choose to believe it will be worth the wait. So when He says “Go,” we will be ready to Go. When He says “Move,” we will be ready to Move. We won’t hesitate. We won’t be afraid and we WILL NOT FAIL!

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31 KJV).
