“This is Really Happening!”

There was a time when I thought, “This isn’t going to happen.” Then there was a time I thought, “Well it could happen.” Then there was a time I thought, “It just might happen.” Now I’m saying, “This is Really Happening!” Because it is!

What changed? I changed. I changed my way of thinking as well as what I speak.  Oftentimes, especially when we are facing difficult situations, we tend to focus (and speak) more of the negative and not so much of the positive. Sure, it may seem impossible, but the impossible is no problem for the God we serve. We all have a choice to either see the glass as half empty or half full. We can choose to view challenges we face as either obstacles or opportunities. Whichever one we decide, that is what we will see.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:3 KJV).

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so (Genesis 1:11 KJV).

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:26-27 KJV).

Notice, He spoke it and it appeared (and it was so); but He also created.

This tells us two things:

  1. If we speak it (good or bad) it will happen.
  2. Some things we have to create (we have to do more than just speak).

Didn’t God create us in His image and in His likeness? So, why are we selling ourselves short? All the Power, Strength, and Creativity we need, for whatever it is we want to accomplish, is already in us. We just have to believe it, speak it, then create it. Remember, even in our weaknesses, God’s strength is made Perfect. We must also remember that we can do ALL THINGS through Christ Who strengthens us (2 Corinthians 12:9; Philippians 4:13).

So, That Settles It. For the remainder of this year, I challenge you to change the way you think and what you speak. Where there was once doubt, believe and speak Faith. Where there was once fear, believe and speak fearlessness. Where there was once “I don’t think I can, believe and speak, “I can and I will!”

Before you know it, you will hear yourself saying, “This is Really Happening,” because you will see the manifestation.

For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37 KJV).
