“Tomorrow is Promised!”

Something has been troubling me since the beginning of the year and I don’t believe I am alone on this one. Almost every time I am on social media I see so many posts saying “tomorrow is not promised.” Let me go on record saying: I absolutely hate this! I urge you to please stop spreading “Fake News!

Now, if you are truly wicked (and unwilling to repent), then this may be true for you (Yes, I said that); ultimately the choice is yours. But, this is NOT the case for the Righteous! I repeat: This is NOT the case for the Righteous! Once more and louder for the people in the back – THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR THE RIGHTEOUS! Tomorrow is Promised to the sons and daughters of the Most High. **If you are unsure, you can choose life today through salvation.**

God promises us long life. Now, I am not callous, and I sincerely pray for comfort and peace for those who are hurting and overcome with sorrow and grief; I have known this pain all too well. I also understand things sometimes happen, for which we have no explanation; but that doesn’t mean we should allow fear to control our thoughts and our conversations. We cannot let fear paralyze us! God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We must choose to live in faith and not fear. This is where we declare: Our God is well able to deliver us, but even if He doesn’t, we will not bow to fear (Daniel 3:17-18).

The power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). It is imperative that we SPEAK LIFE – No matter what it looks like! Remember, we walk by Faith and not by sight.

Now, here is the caveat: We have to make sure that we not only speak life, but that we stay in the “Safe Place.” God promises (Read this aloud):

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in ALL thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation (Psalms 91).

If God said it, then That Settles It. He’s got us covered, literally. This is what I choose to believe, and my prayer is that you will too. As for me and my house, we shall live and not die to declare the works of the Lord. We shall live a long, healthy, and prosperous life. This is the inheritance of our children and our children’s children – and I decree and declare, for us Tomorrow is Promised!

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways (Job 22:28).
